Final Announcement

Dear Participants,

Thank you for your registration for the East Asian Young Astronomers Meeting (EAYAM), which will be held in Taiwan, Feb. 9-12, 2015, at the Institute of Astronomy and Astrophysics, Academia Sinica (ASIAA) in Taipei. We look forward to seeing you in the meeting.

For those contributing oral presentations, please note the following:

Presentation Length
1. For those with 15 minute oral contributions: please limit your talk to 10 minutes and allow 5 minutes of questions.
2. For invited speakers: please limit your talk to 50 minutes and allow 10 minutes of questions.
Presentation file and on-site computer
The LOC will be available from 8:20 am-8:50 am every morning and during the coffee breaks to help participants verify that their talks display correctly.
1. We encourage everyone prior to their talks to upload their presentation files to one of our on-site computers (Windows and Mac OS).
2. If necessary (although not encouraged), you can also use your own personal computer. Please make sure to verify that your presentation file is compatible with our projector system during these times.
3. By default, all talks from the public computers will be uploaded to the EAYAM website. Participants have the option to upload two talks, one for their oral presentation and one for the website. If you would not like your presentation to be uploaded to the website, please include the text "_EAYAM_only" at the end of the file name to inform the LOC to erase the file from the public computer after your session.
4. Participants, especially those who are presenting on Monday, can also email their talk to Nicole Czakon, czakonasiaa.sinica.edu.tw, the evening before their talk. She will make sure that the talk is uploaded in time for their session.
