FAST EMC Issues

Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) is a Chinese mega-science project to build the largest single dish radio telescope in the world. Since FAST will receive extremely weak radio signal from the Universe, it is also vulnerable to the radio frequency interference. Therefore, it is important to carry out the electromagnetic compatibility(EMC) study during the design and construction stages of FAST. The recent progress on analysing and measuring the EMC specialities of the FAST equipment systems will be presented in this talk.
