Environment Effects of the Stellar Mass Luminosity Function inside the Sixty Clusters of Galaxies at Low Redshift

Chi-Chun Lung (NTNU), Yasuhiro Hashimoto(NTNU)

We conducting the investigation of the k-band selected stellar mass luminosity function inside the clusters, and the data sets we used are Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) DR10, and United Kingdom Infrared Digital Sky Survey (UKIDSS) of Large Area Survey (LAS) DR9.

For the cluster selection, we use the XMM-Newton Cluster Survey catalogue to the best characterize the influence of dynamical status of clusters. The k-band luminosity function is a good trace of the stellar mass and robust against the dust obscuration.

Our goal is to investigate the effect of galaxy environments. From the result, we can analysis the clusters of galaxies environment, and find out the effect of the dynamical status of clusters on the stellar mass luminosity function of galaxies inside clusters at redshift between 0 and 0.3.
