The baryonic mass-size relation of late-type galaxies
The baryonic (gas+stars) masses and the scale lengths of the stellar disks of morphological late-type galaxies follow a very tight power-law relation over 4 orders of magnitudes in mass. This scaling relation provides a benchmark constraint to galaxy formation models.
